Paris, September 24, 2009 - A Nexans group subsidiary in Australia has been informed of the commencement of proceedings in Australia involving several cable manufacturers including Nexans, by the local competition authority. This proceeding seems related to the investigations disclosed by Nexans in its press release dated February 12, 2009 and its Registration Document 2008.
