1KV, 10KV Insulated Overhead Cables

1KV, 10KV insulated overhead cables are applicable for power transmission/distribution system with AC rated voltage of 1/10KV.
1KV insulated overhead cables refer to and adopt GB/T12527-2008 and GB/T1179-2008 standards.
10KV insulated overhead cables refer to and adopt GB/T14049-2008 and GB/T1179-2008 standards.

Notes:
1. 1KV Insulated overhead cables can produce 1, 2, 4 core 10-400mm2; 10KV Insulated overhead cables are mainly in single
core with production range of 16-400 mm2.
2. The selection of the cross section of reinforced steel core depends on the tensile strength of steel core aluminium stranded wire.

Main Features
1. Operating characteristics
    (1) Rated voltage of 0.6/1KV, 10KV
    (2) Long-term allowable operating temperature of cable conductor: PVC insulated ≤70°C, XLPE insulated ≤90°C.
    (3) Higest working temperature of cable in case of short circuit (the longest lasting time is not over 5s): PVC insulated ≤160°C, XLPE insulation ≤ 250°C.
    (4) The laying temperature should not over -20℃,if the ambient temperature is lower than that,the cable should be preheated.
    (5) Permissible bending radius of cable:
         a. 0.6/1KV Cable outer diameter (D) < 25mm. It should not be less than 4D; for steel reinforced, it should not be less than 6D. Cable outer diameter (D) ≥ 25mm. It should not be less than 6D;for steel reinforced, it should not be less than 10D.
         b. 10KV For single core cable, it should not be less than 20D; for steel reinforced, it should not be less than 25D. For multi-core cable, it should not be less than 15D; for steel reinforced, it should not be less than 20D.
Notes: “D” is cable outer diameter.
